Aunty Jenny's Choc Chip Cookies


125g choc chips                                                 

125g butter

3/4 cup sugar

1 egg

1 1/2 cups self raising flour

1 teaspoon vanilla


Add sugar to melted butter. Add vanilla, flour, choc chips and egg. Mix well. Spoon onto cookie tray and bake for 15-20 mins at 180 degrees celcius.

185g softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup icing sugar
1 ½ cups plain flour
1/3 cup sifted custard powder
 
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Line trays with baking paper. Place butter, icing sugar and vanilla into food processor. Process 2 mins till creamy. Add flour and custard powder. Pulse till just combined, don’t overdo this step. Roll heaped teaspoon fulls into balls and place onto prepared trays. Press with fork to flatten slightly. Bake about 15 mins, don’t overcook, they should be ‘shortbready’ in texture! Cool on wire rack. When completely cool, join together with passionfruit icing.
