Chocolate Chip Cookies- A perfect beginning.

What better topic for a first post than Choc Chip Cookies, my boys' favourite. I usually make these once every couple of weeks, and they dont last long around here!!

The recipe is super easy to make and comes from a wonderful compilation of tried and true recipes in the Federal State School cookbook 2003.

Aunty Jenny's Choc Chip Cookies

125g choc chips
125g butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
1 teaspoon vanilla

Add sugar to melted butter. Add vanilla, flour, choc chips and egg. Mix well. Spoon onto cookie tray and bake for 15-20 mins at 180 degrees celcius.
My boys like these chewy, so I take them out a little early, as they continue to cook on the trays.
